Safety considerations differ because the products are used differently. The PELONIS is a floor-standing space heater and lists tip-over and overheat protection, which are important protections in homes with pets, kids, or tight walkways. It also outputs strong hot air, so it still requires sensible placement away from bedding, curtains, and foot traffic.
The RENPHO is used directly on the body and includes overheat protection and ETL certification, but it also comes with explicit warnings: don’t bunch, sit/lie on, or squeeze it; don’t use on bare skin; and don’t use while sleeping. If you want “set it in the room and keep distance,” PELONIS may feel simpler; for direct-contact warmth, RENPHO requires stricter user habits.
